2020年欧冠小组赛Chaumet’s founder Marie-Etienne Nitot was Emperor Napoleon I’s official jeweler and created tiaras and formal jewelry for Empress Josephine and, later, Empress Marie-Louise, as well as fashion jewelry and personal pieces. The workshop masters’ savoir-faire, which has been passed down from generation to generation, is a testimony to the creativity and excellence that define the House. It is Joseph Chaumet, head of the workshop and indisputable master of the Belle Epoque, who gave his name to the House and whose townhouse at number 12, Place Vendôme houses its high jewelry workshop and design studio. At this prestigious address, Chaumet creates precious jewelry and watch collections that reflect Parisian elegance and excellence. Chaumet is a responsible jeweler committed to ethical practices: it has been a member of the Responsible Jewellery Council since 2005 and has been certified since 2011.

A precious echo of the taste of its muse, the Joséphine collection perpetuates this graceful and elegant style that is characteristic of Maison Chaumet. An alliance of delicate drawing with flamboyant stones, this collection revisits two hundred and thirty years of expert tradition with contemporary creativity.

2020年欧冠小组赛” An icon of the Place Vendôme, the House of Chaumet believes in passing on; not only its continuous expertise for over 230 years, but also its style and elegance that have accompanied every era and appealed to the most prestigious clients, thanks to the ingenuity and outstanding quality of its jewellery and watches. This long history does not prevent Chaumet, quite the reverse, from embracing the future nor from resuming its growth in Asia and particularly in China, where the House is now well-established and recognized, with the same spirit of openness towards the world that has characterised it from the very beginning.”

2020年欧冠小组赛At Chaumet, it all begins with a sketch, which the House’s gemologists then use to select the stones. Chosen for their quality, rarity or the emotion that they inspire, they are then sculpted into brilliant, cushion, oval or emerald cuts, or pear, the House’s signature cut. It is only once they are cut that the gems, bathed in light, reveal their true beauty. From the sketch to the finished piece, jewelers, setters, polishers and engravers will each take their turn to bring the jewelry to life. Time is a central factor in the House’s equation, with a creation sometimes mobilizing the craftsmen for more than 2,000 hours of work. Deep within the high jeweler’s workshop in Place Vendôme – a veritable laboratory of creativity and innovation for all its collections – assured, precise actions carried out exclusively by hand perpetuate a savoir-faire that the workshop masters have been handing down for more than two centuries.
